The #1 Choice to Passively Monetize your Blog Might Surprise You!

The #1 choice to passively monetize your blog could be Website Monetization by Magenet.  It is for me.

There are many companies to choose from that can add a passive stream of income to your blog without a lot of extra work, but few are quite as good as Magenet.  Subscribe to our blog and watch for others as we continue to test and report.

Magenet combines a platform that connects advertisers with publishers.  Unlike many others, they give both sides an opportunity to decide if they want to work together.

In other words, advertisers can decide up front if they want to advertise on your site, or not, and you can decide if you want to run their ads on your site.

Pricing is defaulted by a formula Magenet has created that, in their experience (and in mine) works very well for both publishers and advertisers.  Advertisers get a real bargain, while publishers, like you and I, get people advertising on our sites and getting paid.

This company also lets you set your own prices, but they also warn you that you could price yourself out of the market.  The prices they initially recommend are based on things like your overall traffic count, your site content, niche, etc.  I will point out, right here, that if you want to passively monetize your blog, it’s best to listen to the experts, at least in the short term.

Magenet raises the price to advertise on your blog as your traffic, quality, and content rise.  What that means is, you don’t have to be constantly watching and researching and bidding to try to get the most out of your site.  They will do all the heavy lifting.

How does it Work?

Website Monetization works by placing contextualized text ads in various places throughout your website.  They say they are planning to add banner ads in the future, but that has not happened, yet.

One thing they will not do is overload any page with advertising.  The whole secret behind their amazing success since starting out in 2008 is in keeping the advertising tasteful, unobtrusive and fitting into the natural flow of any page it is on.

Whenever someone lands on your page, the advertiser(s) displaying ads on that page pay(s) a small fee.  This is called “pay per view,” and it’s obviously not a lot of money for each view!  But when you have a little traffic, those views add up quickly.

Implementation

Implementing Magenet on your WordPress site is very easy.  They supply you with two plugins that you download in a zip file, then upload and install using the WordPress Add New Plugin function.  Once you activate the plugins, you enter the ID codes that they give you, and it starts to work.

The main plugin, which you need to install first, is the Website Monetization by Magenet plugin.  It monetizes the entire site.  But then when you upload the second plugin, the Article Plugin, it takes your earning potential to a whole new level.  Both plugins work together, and are an excellent way to passively monetize your blog or website.

And if you have more than one website, you can add the plugins to the others, as well.

Magenet also offers a universal plugin and clear instructions for any platform.  If you ever get stuck, contact them and they will help you.  And of course, if you ever think you need more help, just contact me through our contact page.

Support

Magenet has a blog and some really great articles they have highlighted offering lots of ideas to increase your revenue.

Of course, your first reason for choosing them is to passively monetize your blog.  But they offer you ways to take that up a notch, without doing a lot of extra work.

I don’t know about you, but any time someone offers me free advice on how to increase my revenue without making any major changes or buying expensive software, I’m all for it!

If you run into something that just stumps you, they are really easy to contact and pretty quick to get back to you.  I’m impressed with the way I’ve been treated by them.

Affiliate Program

I love affiliate programs!  Magenet has teamed up with Gainrock to create a great affiliate program.  Be sure to join the affiliate program and work it in with your regular blogging.  You can do that in articles where it is appropriate, and can also use their excellent custom creatives, such as banners of various sizes and shapes.

All in all, I give Website Monetization by Magenet top marks for providing an excellent way to passively monetize your blog or website.  Try them out, especially if you use WordPress.  You will not be disappointed!
